Accessing Extras Files With the Safari Browser
This article will help you troubleshoot any issues you may be experiencing when attempting to access Extras files using the Apple's Safari Browser.
We have had reports from customer using a Macintosh that attempting to access the "examples" content with their Apple Safari browser gives them the following error message:The operation cannot be completed because one or more required items cannot be found.
(Error code -43)
We understand this error will only occur when using Safari 3 or Safari 4 (beta) browsers on the Macintosh. All PC and other Macintosh browsers seem to be working without any problems.
As a temporary workaround, we have discovered that other browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox is able to access the examples area and can download content with no problems. We also tested and found success with the following browsers: Camino, Opera, and Omniweb. We suggest using one of these browsers when access the Safari "examples" area.
